  1. Run install.bat or follow the manual installation instructions below.

  5. 1. Copy the SBPCI folder to your c:\ drive
  6. 2. Copy the provided autoexec.bat file to your c:\ drive or edit your current one.
  7. 3. Copy the provided config.sys file to your c:\ drive or edit your current one.
  8. 4. If you have any problems getting your setup to work make sure your card is 
  9. supported and view the important notes below.

  13. The SBPCI.zip archive contains the dos sound card drivers for all Sound Blaster 
  14. pci cards (excluding SBLive! and Audigy Models). They are setup and optimized 
  15. for ArcadeOS and MAME but they should work well with any legacy dos game.

  17. SBPCI.zip supports the following Sound Blaster PCI cards

  30. Important Notes:

  32. 1. Your sound blaster pci card can not use irq 5.
  33. 2. Your sound blaster pci card should not use the same irq as your video card.
  34. 3. You must first uninstall your current sound blaster dos drivers in windows 
  35. for the SBPCI drivers to work. Go to: 
  36. Start/Settings/Control Panel/Add Remove Programs/Your Sound Card
